Engineered Testing Equipment
No Catalog. No Fixed Models. Just Your Spec, Engineered.
As a custom testing machine manufacturer, we engineer testing equipment around your application, capacity, material, specimen or part geometry, and required testing standard.
Why We Build This Way
A Catalog Machine Fits the Catalog, Not Your Application
Standard testing equipment is sold in a handful of fixed capacities, because that’s what’s efficient to mass-produce. The trade-off lands on you — you either pay for more capacity than you’ll use, or work around a fixture that’s almost-but-not-quite right for your specimen. We build the other way around: the requirement comes first, and the machine is engineered to match it, not the reverse.
Where This Matters Most
Built for the Application You Actually Have, Not the Nearest Standard One
Some of the strongest reasons manufacturers come to a custom testing machine manufacturer rather than a catalog supplier show up in edge cases — an unusual specimen shape, a load range that falls between two standard model sizes, or a compliance requirement a fixed model wasn’t designed for. This is exactly the situation a made-to-order testing machine is built for.
- Non-standard specimen geometries that don’t fit a catalog fixture
- Load or torque ranges that fall between fixed model sizes
- Compliance with a standard your industry requires that a generic model wasn’t built for
Custom Testing Machine Engineering Built to Your Specification
From Requirement to Delivery
Requirement Discussion: You describe what you’re testing — material or part, expected load or torque range, specimen or part geometry, and the standard you need to comply with.
Configuration & Design: We size the load cell, frame, and fixtures to your application, and plan the control software setup — test stages, tolerance bands, and report format — around your process.
Build & Calibration: The machine is manufactured, wired, and calibrated in-house before it ships.
Installation & Handover: Setup at your site, operator walkthrough, and confirmation that live data capture and reporting are working as expected.
Ongoing Support: Calibration and servicing are available after delivery, from the same team that built the machine.
Application-First
Every machine starts with your requirement, not a fixed model
In-House Software
Live data and reporting built and maintained by our own team
ASTM/IS Compliance
Built to comply with the standard you actually test against
Direct Team Access
You work with the engineers who designed your machine, not a call center
Common Reasons Manufacturers Come to Us for a Built-to-Spec Machine
| Situation | How We Address It |
|---|---|
| Specimen or part doesn’t fit standard fixtures | Fixtures and grips designed around your part geometry |
| Load/torque range falls between fixed model sizes | Load cell and frame sized precisely to your range |
| Compliance requirement outside a standard model’s scope | Machine and software configured to your required standard |
| Need for automated data capture and reporting | Control software included as standard on every build |
Note: Capacity, fixtures, software configuration, and test standard are worked out from your application — share what you’re testing and we’ll recommend the right configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is a made-to-order machine more expensive than a standard catalog model? +
It depends on the application — sizing a machine precisely to your requirement can avoid paying for unused capacity, which sometimes offsets the engineering involved. Share your requirement and we’ll give you a straight answer.
How long does it take to build a machine from spec to delivery? +
Timeline depends on the complexity of the configuration — we’ll give you a realistic estimate once your requirement is finalized.
Can you build to standards outside ASTM and IS? +
Let us know the standard you need to comply with during the requirement discussion, and we’ll confirm whether we can build to it.
Do you only build the three product lines listed on the Products page, or can you engineer something entirely different? +
Our core range covers Universal Testing Machines, Spring Testing Machines, and Torsion Spring Testing Machines — if your application falls outside that range, get in touch and we’ll let you know if it’s something we can take on.
Is the control software customized per machine, or is it the same for everyone? +
The core software is ours, built and maintained in-house, but test stages, tolerance bands, and report format are set up around your specific process during commissioning.
